I’ll throw some details on my kit later, but for now I dive with a DIR/GUE gear configuration. (Backplate and Wing on a one piece harness, with long hose regulator, etc)

My Camera is a Canon Powershot G10 with an Ikelite case and a Sea&Sea YS-27 Strobe. Although I would like a DSLR rig, I find that despite the limitations of a point-and-shoot camera, it still allows for a lot of flexibility and provides a good platform to learn about the finer points of underwater photography that expensive gear won’t solve.
